Blue Star Appoints Udit Pahwa as Chief Information Officer

Blue Star Ltd. has named Udit Pahwa as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, Pahwa will drive the company’s digital transformation efforts and develop comprehensive IT architecture and infrastructure strategies to foster business growth.

Pahwa joins Blue Star with over 27 years of rich experience in the IT sector. During his tenure as Group CIO at Kirloskar Management Services Pvt. Ltd., he adeptly utilised technology to solve business challenges while efficiently managing costs and risks. His expertise spans various domains, including Business Applications (CRM, ERP, and PLM), Connected Shopfloor, and Business Data Analytics, and he was instrumental in crafting advanced IT strategies.

Before his time at Kirloskar, Pahwa served as the Head of IT at Huhtamaki India Limited. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he brings a diverse industry background in Operations Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Process Solutions.

Throughout his career, Pahwa has successfully implemented enterprise applications for top-tier organizations, developed core transactional platforms to support business growth, and spearheaded significant technology investments. He is well-regarded for establishing best practices, standardising processes, nurturing high-performance teams, and executing comprehensive technology strategies and roadmaps.

An early adopter of cutting-edge technologies, Pahwa possesses expertise in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Hosted Shared Desktop (HSD). He co-authored the book “Automation for the Future Enterprise,” published in 2021, and has contributed to numerous publications on technology and cybersecurity topics.
