Honeywell Unveils Next-Gen AI-Enabled Devices to Drive Workforce Productivity and Transform Customer Experience
Honeywell has introduced three next-generation handheld mobile computers—CT37, CK67, and CK62—designed to enhance workforce efficiency and optimize operations in demanding environments such as warehouses and retail spaces. These devices are engineered to run advanced artificial intelligence (AI) applications, enabling employees to streamline workflows and accelerate on-the-job learning.
The launch reflects Honeywell’s strategic focus on key global trends like automation and supports its initiative to integrate AI into its mobile devices. In line with these efforts, Honeywell also announced plans to develop an AI-enabled Multi-Modal Intelligent Agent, beginning with the CT47.
“Honeywell’s mobile computers are the backbone of industries that keep the world moving, including global supply chains, healthcare, and air travel,” said David Barker, president of Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services. “These devices leverage AI to help employees work smarter, company assets perform better, and processes run more efficiently, driving actionable insights from data.”
Equipped with 5G and Wi-Fi 6E technology, and compatible with Android™ 14-18, the CT37, CK67, and CK62 offer fast data access and seamless communication to help workers perform tasks quickly and accurately.
- CT37: Built for retail and healthcare, this versatile device combines rugged durability, high-performance scanning, and security with a user-friendly, phone-like experience. It’s designed to enhance tasks like mobile point-of-sale, price checks, patient identification, and secure communication, improving both customer and patient experience.
- CK67: Ideal for warehouses and distribution centers (DCs), this mobile computer is ergonomically designed for ease of use while withstanding up to eight-foot drops. It supports scanning across various distances, ensuring maximum productivity in fast-paced environments.
- CK62: Lightweight and designed for single-handed use, the CK62 is tailored for warehouse operations, featuring an updated keypad and enterprise-grade software that provides asset visibility and optimizes processes.
AI-Powered Multi-Modal Intelligent Agent
Honeywell’s forthcoming AI-driven Multi-Modal Intelligent Agent, set for release in early 2025, aims to be a digital assistant for the modern workforce, particularly in retail and warehousing. Powered by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., the agent will enable employees to quickly access answers to complex queries, delivering responses in various formats, such as text, images, or voice.
The Multi-Modal Intelligent Agent will be available via a software development kit, allowing businesses to integrate it into their existing systems for improved operational efficiency and accuracy.
