JSW MG Motor India has launched two generative AI chatbots, Avira and Vir. Developed in partnership with Google Cloud India, these advanced digital assistants are designed to transform the way customers interact with the brand. With this launch, JSW MG Motor India has become the first car manufacturer in India to adopt such innovative AI technology for customer service.
Powered by Google Cloud’s PaLM 2 technology, a state-of-the-art large language model (LLM), Avira and Vir are equipped with advanced AI capabilities. These chatbots are designed to provide dynamic, intelligent interactions, allowing customers to receive timely, accurate, and personalized responses. Their ability to handle multiple languages further enhances accessibility, enabling them to cater to a wider audience.
The AI chatbots can be accessed through a variety of platforms, including the MG Motor website, WhatsApp, EVPEDIA’s website, and EVPEDIA WhatsApp. By being available across multiple touchpoints, Avira and Vir ensure seamless customer engagement, whether users are seeking information about products or support for their electric vehicle (EV) journey.

Vir, on the other hand, is designed to provide detailed information about electric vehicles (EVs). It empowers users by answering queries on charging infrastructure, EV benefits, and MG’s range of electric vehicles, simplifying the process of transitioning to electric mobility.
