In his new role, Stephen will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, onboarding new customers, customizing services to meet specific requirements, and guaranteeing optimal access and execution in global trade financing. His extensive background positions him well to maintain and elevate Mitigram’s renowned customer service standards.
Based in Toronto, Stephen will report directly to Joshua Kroeker, Chief Product Officer at Mitigram. Before joining Mitigram, Stephen held significant positions such as Global Head of Customer Success at Komgo, Chief Operating Officer at GlobalTrade Corporation, and Trade Finance Representative at RBC Royal Bank. Stephen Andersen expressed his enthusiasm about joining Mitigram: “I am excited to bring my industry experience to Mitigram, enhancing customer experience, making trade finance more accessible, accelerating digitalization, and enabling seamless transactions across the industry.”
This appointment follows the recent leadership additions of Pedram Tadayon as Chief Executive Officer and Tony Sepandian as Chief Financial Officer earlier this year. Mitigram’s latest funding round raised USD $11 million to accelerate the company’s growth, bringing the total raised to USD $38 million.
Stephen’s appointment marks a significant step for Mitigram as it continues to expand and innovate in the digital trade financing sector, ensuring top-notch customer experiences and driving global trade efficiency.
