SBI General Introduces Bima Central, a Revolutionary Advancement in Customer Experience

SBI General Insurance Company Limited has joined forces with Bima Central, developed by CAMS Insurance Repository, to introduce a pioneering policyholder servicing platform, Bima Central. This innovative platform empowers consumers to consolidate their insurance portfolios using an electronic Insurance Account (eIA) and manage them seamlessly through a single digital portal, Bima Central.

For the first time in the market, SBI General Insurance customers with an eIA through CAMS Rep Bima Central will have instant access to their insurance portfolio via the SBI General Insurance Mobile App. Additionally, these services can be accessed through the Bima Central app.

SBI General Insurance has established two-way connectivity with Bima Central, providing policyholders with a unified, integrated view of their aggregated insurance benefits for eIA holders. The platform offers a holistic perspective on insurance protection and investment, enabling users to visualize their assets.

SBI General Insurance plans to issue all retail lines of business policies in electronic format, which will be deposited into the policyholder’s e-Insurance account (eIA). In cases where policyholders do not yet have an eIA, they will be encouraged to open one through the Insurance Repository to commence their digital insurance servicing journey.
