
Pizza Hut India, a subsidiary of US-based Yum! Brands has announced the promotion of Manish Guptaa as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Guptaa, who earlier served as the Chief Digital & Technology Officer, will now lead Pizza Hut’s brand strategy, consumer engagement, and marketing initiatives in the dynamic Indian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector.
With over two decades of diverse experience, Guptaa has held leadership roles at Domino’s (Jubilant FoodWorks), Karbonn Mobiles, Spice Mobiles, and Maruti Suzuki, giving him an extensive understanding of consumer behavior across industries. During his tenure at Domino’s, he drove large-scale marketing campaigns and product innovations, while at Pizza Hut he has been instrumental in reshaping the brand’s digital and technology-led roadmap.

His strong grasp of customer insights, coupled with his strategic and technology-first mindset, positions him perfectly to steer Pizza Hut’s marketing into its next phase of growth,” said Rohan Pewekar, Managing Director, Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent.
Since joining Pizza Hut in 2019, Guptaa has championed data-driven decision-making, scaled digital commerce, and spearheaded performance marketing strategies that strengthened Pizza Hut’s digital-first positioning.

His appointment aligns with Pizza Hut’s “back-to-core” strategy, emphasizing value, innovation, and cultural relevance to stay ahead in India’s fast-growing QSR market. Alongside his corporate achievements, Guptaa is also recognized for mentoring young professionals and contributing actively to industry forums.
