
Milind Pande, who previously managed the marketing charter for Amazon Web Services (AWS)’s Independent Software Vendors cohort of customers in India, will now lead the company’s broad marketing portfolio, spanning industries and customer maturity, including brand positioning, demand generation, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies across India and South Asia as the head of marketing for the region.
Pande brings 16 years of experience in a variety of industries, including technology, media, and consultancy, as well as deep knowledge of B2B marketing, strategy, and business development, to his enlarged role. Until recently, he managed the marketing charter for AWS’s Independent Software Vendors cohort of customers in India.
Pande formerly served as the AWS India President’s chief of staff, where he was instrumental in implementing the region’s growth strategies in sales and marketing.
Pande wears many headgears and carries a lot in his business suitcase. His extensive experience ranges from managing technology security and enterprise risk management for Vodafone India to leading corporate strategy and investor relations at Viacom18, a JioStar subsidy and a joint venture between Reliance Industries, Viacom18, and Disney India. His educational background includes an MBA from the Indian School of Business, specializing in strategy and marketing. His previous experience includes operations, analysis, and strategy.
