QVC Group, a leading global video commerce retailer and a subsidiary of QVC Group Inc., has appointed Tony Williams as its new Chief People Officer. With this strategic leadership move, the company aims to strengthen its global human resources strategy and employee experience across all regions.
In this executive role, Williams will lead QVC’s comprehensive global people strategy. His responsibilities will span across all facets of the team member experience, including talent acquisition and development, organizational culture, performance management, employee engagement, total rewards, and people operations. His work will be central to aligning QVC’s human capital initiatives with the company’s long-term business goals in an evolving retail landscape.
Williams will report directly to Mike Fitzharris, President of QVC US Brand and Chief Operating Officer. Fitzharris highlighted Williams’ proven expertise in managing large-scale organizational change and his ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
“Tony brings deep, hands-on leadership experience from his time with globally recognized companies,” said Fitzharris. “His unique ability to guide teams through complex transformations, while maintaining a strong focus on people and purpose, makes him an excellent addition to QVC’s executive team. I’m confident that his leadership will be instrumental in shaping a forward-looking People strategy that supports our business objectives and empowers our team members around the world.”
Before joining QVC, Williams held a prominent position at The Estée Lauder Companies as Senior Vice President – Global Human Resources, Transformation Enablement, and Regional Leadership. In that capacity, he played a pivotal role in steering the company through global HR transformations and aligning regional HR practices with broader corporate goals.
Williams’ extensive background in leading human resources across diverse industries and markets positions him well to support QVC Group’s continued focus on innovation, agility, and inclusive workplace culture.
His appointment comes at a critical time when businesses worldwide are redefining workforce dynamics in the face of digital transformation and changing consumer behaviours. With Williams at the helm of its people function, QVC aims to nurture a resilient and future-ready workforce that can adapt and thrive in a rapidly shifting retail environment.
