Majid Al Futtaim has entered into a strategic alliance with Lime Consumer Finance, Egypt’s largest education financing platform, to introduce new flexible payment options that enhance the customer journey across its retail destinations in the country.
The agreement was formalized at Majid Al Futtaim’s headquarters with the participation of Rasha Azab, Managing Director – shopping malls, Egypt and Lebanon at Majid Al Futtaim, and Ahmed Mohsen, CEO and Managing Director of Lime Consumer Finance. This collaboration aims to accelerate digital financial inclusion and strengthen customer-centric retail experiences in Egypt.
Through the Lime app, customers can benefit from instant approvals, personalized installment plans, and simplified financing processes tailored to their budget and lifestyle. After signing a contract at a Lime kiosk, shoppers can immediately access financing support for purchases.
The initiative reinforces Majid Al Futtaim’s focus on innovation, convenience, and value-driven engagement, while supporting Lime’s expansion into lifestyle financing and contributing to Egypt’s broader shift toward a cashless, digitally empowered economy.
As part of the launch, a one-month cashback campaign is being rolled out across Mall of Egypt, City Centre Almaza, City Centre Alexandria, and City Centre Maadi. Shoppers who use Lime to pay for educational expenses at these destinations will receive 15% cashback with no upper limit, credited via Majid Al Futtaim’s exclusive gift card accepted at 700+ stores in fashion, dining, electronics, entertainment, and more. On-ground kiosks will provide easy sign-up and instant rewards redemption.
