Metro Brands Appoints Atul Sinha as President – Core Business to Drive Growth of Metro and Mochi

Metro Brands Ltd has announced the appointment of Atul Sinha as President – Core Business, reinforcing its leadership team as the company accelerates the growth of its flagship footwear brands, Metro and Mochi.

Sinha brings over 20 years of experience across retail, consumer products, and brand management. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in sales, merchandising, category management, marketing, business strategy, and omnichannel retail operations.

In his new role, Sinha will oversee the strategic direction and expansion of Metro and Mochi stores. His responsibilities will include strengthening brand positioning, enhancing customer engagement, and driving operational excellence across both online and offline channels.

Commenting on the appointment, Nissan Joseph, CEO of Metro Brands Ltd, said, “Atul’s extensive experience in brand building, merchandising, retail operations, and customer experience makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team. Prior to joining Metro Brands, Sinha served as Chief Operating Officer at CaratLane, where he led key functions including sales, merchandising, category management, marketing, and international business operations. Earlier, he held several leadership positions at Hindustan Unilever Limited, managing responsibilities across sales, marketing, and category management.

Sinha is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where he earned his Post Graduate Diploma in Management. His appointment reflects Metro Brands’ continued focus on strengthening its leadership capabilities and driving sustained growth across its core footwear business in India.
