Misfits Communications has officially launched Agrim, a cutting-edge platform designed to create voice-driven virtual assistants. Agrim transforms how businesses automate customer service with advanced cognitive capabilities, real-time data retrieval, multilingual support, and AI-powered insights, setting a new standard for digital business solutions.
Since its founding in 2017, Misfits Communications has focused on developing software solutions for diverse industries. The company’s earlier successes, such as E-log, a software solution for the pharmaceutical sector, and Acebot, an AI-powered chatbot, have paved the way for this groundbreaking innovation. Named after the Sanskrit word for “the first,” Agrim builds on this legacy to deliver tailored solutions for industries where customer service is a critical function.
“We are creating a suite of products that leverage Generative AI technologies to address complex business challenges. Agrim is the first in this series,” said Siddharth Verma, Founder of Misfits Communications. “Agrim is India’s first AI-powered voicebot platform, enabling businesses to build browser-based voicebots that deliver human-like customer support across websites and mobile applications in 41 languages.”
Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Agrim provides an intuitive experience for both voice and text interactions. The platform enables virtual assistants to extract relevant information from documents, websites, audio, or video files and respond accurately to user queries. Agrim supports real-time communication in nine Indian languages and 32 international languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for a global audience.
Agrim’s versatility spans multiple applications:
- Customer Service: Offers 24/7 support with instant responses, reducing wait times and freeing up human agents for complex tasks.
- E-Commerce: Enhances the customer journey with personalized recommendations, real-time query resolution, and improved engagement.
- Interactive Advertising: Powers dynamic, voice-responsive campaigns that boost customer interaction and deliver impactful experiences.
- Knowledge Management: Functions as an intelligent chatbot capable of analyzing website data, policies, regulations, and manuals to provide precise answers.
“Our goal with Agrim is to simplify AI adoption and address everyday business challenges,” said Sanchayita Deb, Co-founder of Misfits Communications. “We developed Agrim’s features based on feedback from customers, ensuring it meets their key needs effectively.”
Agrim was beta-launched in September 2024 and received positive feedback from early users for its adaptability and impact. Its official release as an off-the-shelf product marks a major milestone for Misfits Communications. The company plans to further expand its AI portfolio with the launch of Prakhar and Drishti by the end of the financial year, reinforcing its position as a leader in AI-based solutions.
