
Infosys has announced a strategic collaboration with Spark New Zealand, the country’s largest telecommunications and digital services provider, to accelerate Spark’s digital transformation and strengthen its AI-driven customer engagement strategy.

The partnership will utilize Infosys Topaz, an AI-first suite of services and solutions powered by generative AI, and Infosys Cobalt, a comprehensive cloud platform designed to support enterprise cloud transitions. The goal is to modernize Spark’s technology delivery approach while improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experiences through advanced AI tools.
Delivering Global Expertise in Software Engineering and DevOps
Under the agreement, Infosys will bring in its global capabilities in DevOps and software engineering to assist Spark in building, testing, integrating, and deploying its digital systems and applications. The engagement will also cover continuous monitoring and support, ensuring reliability and scalability of Spark’s digital infrastructure.
Maintaining Strategic Control with Local Focus
Although Infosys will lead the technical execution, Spark will retain authority over its core IT assets, technology strategy, innovation roadmap, and product development. Infosys will act as a technology enabler, providing international scale and AI-driven innovation to complement Spark’s long-term vision.
Additionally, Infosys will expand its local workforce to ensure that essential support and expertise are preserved within New Zealand.
