Avant has acquired CX Effect to bolster its business, sales, and service opportunities in the customer experience (CX) and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors. This strategic move significantly expands Avant’s portfolio, adding over 40 new suppliers to its roster.
“The acquisition of CX Effect significantly expands our portfolio by incorporating over 40 new suppliers,” stated Drew Lydecker, co-founder and president of Avant. “This accelerates Avant’s success as we continue to address the rapidly growing cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and AI markets. For the past three years, CX Effect has been expanding its offerings with solution-specific CX and AI providers, focusing on building channel relationships and sales enablement programs.”
Details regarding the number of employees involved and the terms of the deal remain undisclosed. However, the integration of CX Effect’s vendor partnerships and sales enablement capabilities with Avant’s resources is set to enhance the role of solution providers as trusted advisors in the CX and AI domains.
“This acquisition will immediately enable our Trusted Advisor channel to pursue and win more opportunities,” Lydecker added. “Every dollar that shifts from contact center labor to technology spending represents a recurring revenue opportunity for Trusted Advisors.”
Andrew Pryfogle, founder and CEO of CX Effect, will remain with the company, focusing on market development and enhancing Trusted Advisor training and sales enablement. Bob Maute, CX Effect’s CRO, will also stay on to concentrate on vendor business development.
Avant plans to integrate CX Effect’s CX and AI training and sales enablement capabilities into its existing programs and Pathfinder platform. Pryfogle expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “No one is even close to having the talented bench and portfolio Avant now has in this space around security, connectivity, CX, and AI. We are thrilled to join the Avant team and create a limitless, next-gen distributor focused on helping our Trusted Advisors leverage these transformative technologies.”
Lydecker emphasized Avant’s commitment to channel sales enablement, saying, “Now our focus is on accelerating channel sales within the explosive AI and customer experience market. By combining CX Effect’s extensive CX and AI sales skills and training programs with our own, we now have the deepest bench of sales support and enablement resources in this dynamic market.”
The acquisition marks a significant step forward for Avant as it continues to enhance its capabilities and offerings in the ever-evolving CX and AI landscape.
