TTEC Expands India Presence with New Customer Experience Center in Mohali, Creating 400 Jobs

TTEC Holdings, Inc., a global leader in customer experience (CX) technology and services, has announced the expansion of its footprint in India with the launch of a new customer experience center in Mohali, Punjab, also known as Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (SAS Nagar).

With the potential to grow even further as the business expands its regional operations, this new facility is anticipated to create 400 job possibilities in support of a well-known healthcare client in the United States.

Speaking about the development, John Abou, President of TTEC Engage, said, “Modern CX leaders are constantly seeking smarter, faster ways to deliver value. Our Mohali center combines frontline expertise with AI-powered tools to help clients achieve better outcomes with enhanced efficiency and agility.”

Considering Mohali has a large pool of highly scalable, English-speaking talent and a strong cultural fit with the company’s service-driven philosophy, TTEC chose to expand there. TTEC’s emphasis on human-centered client contact is complemented by fundamental local values like seva (selfless service) and a strong feeling of community.

Initially, the center will operate out of C-205, Phase 8B, Industrial Area, Sector 74, Mohali, with plans to shift operations in August to Quark City, a prominent IT and technology hub in the city.

To provide next-generation CX solutions, the new personnel in Mohali will be outfitted with cutting-edge AI-enabled systems. These include TTEC Clarity, which improves communication through accent neutralization and real-time speech translation; TTEC Perform is an AI-powered performance platform; TTEC Let Me Know is a generative AI tool that expedites knowledge access for improved service delivery.
“Our investment in Mohali highlights the region’s extraordinary potential and our long-term commitment to providing exceptional service experiences,” said Arnab Ray, Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations at TTEC Engage.

TTEC’s two-decade journey in India is being built upon with this effort. The company celebrated the first year of operation at its Mumbai Customer Experience Center and Hyderabad Digital Innovation Studio in 2024 and simultaneously added 800 employment opportunities.

Currently employing about 3,500 people in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, TTEC keeps making investments to bolster its infrastructure and footprint in India.
